Sample Seago Family Trees
I read a nice review recently about our Seago Family History Group - UK site, but one of the few criticisms mentioned was that the site did not include any family trees. Publishing family trees diagrammatically on the WWW seems to be quite difficult - it seems most site hosts present family trees in a text list format.
I have produced many detailed family trees for most of the known UK SEAGO related families. These are drawn up to show family links where there is reasonable evidence to suggest (confirm) links. We have over 30 family trees, but would not publish them all, as some identify living persons whose privacy we should respect - these can be supplied directly once a bona-fida interest is confirmed.
As a trail I have included a number of sample SEAGO family trees in Microsoft WORD format. This seems to be the most common format for word-processing and family trees can be presented very well (despite the process of creating them being a bit tedious, the results are good). The advantages for the site visitor, if they have MS Word software are obvious, they can save the .doc file on their own PC and print out the tree if they have a printer attached.
