An ad-hoc group was formed in 1995 by several family history researchers looking into the surname Seago and its variants (Sago, Seagoe, Sego, etc.) in the United Kingdom. A Group was formed to share and exchange freely all information regarding this surname. In the first ten years the collection grew rapidly, but it is now only occasionally updated.

More lately,  Mike Higgins - the coordinator, continues to maintain the SEAGO data collection and indexes for the surname Seago,  construct and update family trees where evidence suggests links and stores copies of documentary evidence collected.

If you have any interest into the history of SEAGO families in the UK, please browse the pages of the web site, share your researches and/or e-mail me with your enquiries and I will try to help.
